Storyline:
Sunlight Jr. is a love story set in the ruins of the American dream. Melissa is a convenience store clerk who lives in a motel with her paraplegic boyfriend, Richie. When they learn they are going to have a baby, they are genuinely excited. But when she loses her job and they are evicted from the motel, they face difficult choices about life and their relationship.

Great acting! Wonderful closeup shots of actors expressions. This movie was filmed in my neighborhood and is a very true-to-life depiction of what life is like for so many living in central Florida. People come here thinking they will be in paradise, but sadly things don't always work out that way. Love the attention to strip malls which seems to be the primary architecture here! Great movie for film buffs but not for those who want escapism or light entertainment.
